Social media is not a healthy place for children.
Parents, protect your kids.
Do not post their photos and info online. They cannot give consent. Let them figure out what’s best for them when they are an adult and capable of making these decisions.
It’s not fair for them to get online at 16, 18, 21, whatever and find their entire life has been documented publicly by someone else. Would you like that to happen to you?
Keep their info private. Their full name, birthdate, where they go to school, where you live, what things they like to do. Keep all of that offline.
And this goes for grandparents as well. Everyone knows you’re proud of your grandkids, but respect their privacy and protect them online like you would in real life.
